PE x Studio Lowrie #2
Inspired by unloved objects, the broken collection is an ongoing exploration of the forgotten. Everyday objects imbued with memories from our past; so familiar we stop seeing them clearly, but so precious we cannot throw them away. This is a celebration of the dormant archive of our shelves and cupboards – of these old and wonderful objects that have no use at all.
The first in the range is a beautiful English made china plate that was broken in transit. The broken pieces are now adorned across this t-shirt as the first item in the collection.

Based in East London, our t-shirt printers are a talented collective driven by their values of creativity, quality and ecological production. They now offer their combined expertise as specialists in screenprinting and boasting remarkable 15 years experience each.
The fabric we use to make our t-shirts is a double weight GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified organic cotton. Although we use a heavy weight jersey (5.6 oz / 190 g) the fabric is soft, breathable and extremely comfortable.
We want to keep our carbon footprint as small as possible, so we’ve partnered with a specialist, environmentally-focused supplier. Our t-shirts are certified as carbon neutral and made with a GOTS authenticated organic cotton. The factory is a member of Fair Wear who monitor the quality of working conditions within the clothing industry, as well as being PTA vegan-approved.
